My new theme - UPDATE!

I'm so excited about my new theme! I found the cool vector of the girl on the laptop online...I'm not that good as an illustrator yet...but I did add my own illustrated corgi! What do you think of it? I think the corgi looks so cute...and cartoonish...just how I wanted. Do you like it?

The colors look great and I am so happy with how it turned out :-)

Food! mmm...

I love food & I love to eat, and you wouldn't know that if you saw me. I am pretty thin even though I eat what my boyfriend eats ( and sometimes more :-), and that's because I have a really high metabolism...or so that's what the doctor says. It runs in my mother's side of the family. We are all shortish, thin people with high metabolism...pretty funny! :-)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bragging at all. I wish I was a teeny bit bigger, I feel too skinny sometimes, and I can't wear certain clothes because I am afraid of how thin I look in it. It's so hard for me to gain even 1kg! I was teased in school, and some kids used to say that I was anorexic...and I SO AM NOT! I love my food and I could eat all day...haha. I certainly don't starve myself. I cannot put on weight no matter how much I stuff myself.

I think I would have to eat 24 hours straight to maybe put on 2kgs. Urgh! Anyways.... (rant over)

My new theme

As you may notice, I have decided to change my blog's theme. I wanted to go for something a little more cute. But it isn't complete yet. I plan to change the pattern in the background, as well as replace the birdie in the image. I want to put a corgi there, so I've decided to start illustrating my own version of a corgi...keep your eyes open...coming soon! :-)

I wanna be just like this!

What I mean is...I wanna be just as good as this vector artist. WOW I just love his work. And I just recently got my Wacom tablet, and that should help me alot. Gotta start practising! :-)

Top Site!

As some of you might know, I used to do "Fave Site of the Week", where I would showcase my favourite site of that week.
Well I haven't been too good at keeping that up...lol! So I've decided to just showcase a "Top Site" as I find it, instead of doing one for every week.

Today's Top Site comes from Soup Studios. I love the use of color on this site, so funky, fresh & fun! It has that crafted look that seems to be taking over the industry, and I really like it!

I have always thought that lolcats were hilarious. I was so happy when I found ihasahotdog.com, because they have all the lol's for dogs! I tried to gather up as many corgi lol's I could find, and here they are. So cute & funny!

It's arrived!

My Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet has finally arrived! A bit of a late christmas present, but at least its here.

I've plugged it in & tested it out, and it's even better than I ever imagined! I'm so excited!

This will give me more freedom with my designs, and I hope to become a good illustrator since drawing has always been my passion.

Thank you my handsome soulmate for a wonderful christmas gift! Mwah xxx

Can't make up my mind

I have been looking around for a new collar for Bella, since our Beagle decided that her collar was a toy & chewed it all up! LOL! The range of collars here in SA are really....boring. So I decided to look online. I found some really beautiful collars on target.com & muttropolis.com, but unfortunately target.com won't deliver to South Africa, and muttropolis would deliver, but it was way too expensive. My only option is ebay!

Ebay has so many great options...so great actually...that I just can't make up my mind on which collar to order! So I'm asking my followers to hopefully let me know which collar they think is cutest for a corgi princess :-)

Out of these *blingy* collars, I would go for the light pink at the bottom! And look at that...it already has Bella's name on it!! LOL :-)

So please let me know what you think & help me choose one! Thanx!
